…Maybe It Was Skipped. Okay I joke. I love it & I love the holidays BUT the stress of the holidays is a little intense.
family gatherings, making sure you get the right gifts, get gifts for friends, co-workers, pay bills, and if you’re a go-getter.. participating in that Elf on the Shelf phenomenon. Luckily, my daughter doesn’t want, or isn’t old enough in my eyes, one. Maybe next year if there is another sibling involved to keep my loving daughter in check. Then let’s add the following: breakfast on Christmas, dinner on Christmas, the day after Christmas return soiree because even if Santa brings you gifts, don’t worry your mom and dad can return all of those gifts.. doesn’t that raise ANY red flags?!
There is also dealing with work & tolerating how slow it is and making yourself look like you’re super busy… so instead of that you just take off for a while. That’s what I did. I took off the day after Christmas & the 29th for an adorable Pampered Chef Kids Workshop so I could spend time with sorority sisters along with my peanut. Two birds.. one stone. But on top of the crazy typical holiday stuff there is also a Norwex team promotion! My sponsor is on her way to being a RED JACKET LEADER… And if that wasn’t enough of an incentive to make sure the team gets it another leader who is Senior Vice Black Jacket is also up for a promotion as well. In the month of December the team I am on needed 75 to engage (which is $250 in an order) and the team is down to SINGLE DIGITS!
Going into the New Year a little stressed BUT it will be an amazing if the team promotes it means so many things.. I also have planned out TWO months worth of classes already for my YL business along with working on selling off inventory, taking pre-orders for new release product and even working on making sure my Facebook group is more interactive. The only thing I need to do is work on figuring out engagement.. I want to engage and educate, but right now I only have educate.
So here we are.. January 1, 2018.. a new year, a Happiest of New Year to you & your loved ones. I do hope you have resolved to make achievable resolutions.. here are a few of mine:
- staying present and not worrying about the future
- managing and maintaining a budget
- beginning a game night with my hubby and toddler
